Went shopping today...

Post by DarthBarbieDoll »

... at my favorite flea market and guess what little gem I found and brought home with me for $125:

Image

A vintage 1996 Pepsi R2D2 cooler made in St. Louis, MO! Woo hoo! He was marked at $225 but I haggled a bit. ;)

Edit - After I dusted the little guy off today I uncovered some stickers and found out he is a 1996 R2D2.

I have been looking for that for over a decade.

If Crayola had a color called "jealous green," that is what color I would be colored in my coloring book of life.

So.

I hope you sleep well.

KFox

PS. Even though I am jealous, I still love you.

I have one of those in my man-cave! They are great to fill with action figures... I'd never use it for soda pop! :D

Way to respect the Legion Staff there CJ!

Hey Rhonda, I don't think buying this qualifies as being an R2 Builder. ;)

Thanks everyone. :) Aw Kevin, I'm sorry. I'll keep a look out to see if another one shows up in the flea market. ;) I doubt I can find a Maul at that price though, Eric! :P

No worries, CJ. I know I'm a nerd - a computer nerd and Star Wars nerd. Rock on! :rockin:
