FX Bucket Ear Reduction

Post by TrooperKerry »

Well I got a wild hare and decided the ear pieces on the FX were too big............so I went browsing on the web to get pics for reference..........and well I gave my bucket an Ear reduction

I will post pics when I get them sanded smooth, since they are pretty rough right now, and I'm sure that I'll have to fill in some gaps, and therefore the bucket gets a new paint job

But with the rough cuts done, and held up to the bucket, I actually think it looks alot more accurate than as they were. They suck out pretty far, and per other pics of buckets, I reduced them to be comparable.

If this doesn't work :paranoid: .........................then I either pitch it in the garbage or I'll have to find new ear caps somewhere.

This is what happens when I get bored and have no instructions to put it together.............I make my own instructions 0_o

Well I'll keep ya posted, and if anyone else has done this or, perhaps might have extra FX ear caps laying around...........just in case :twitch: Let me know!

Okay just posted pics of the Ear Piece reduction. I shaved approx 1/4" off each one, I personally think it looks alot better.
