This is not the first picture taken, but it kinda defines the costume for me, yeah its me... using a socket set on a denim half jacket! (nothing is complete but the mask) The challenge for me, was to make 'pink' look rough and warrior-like. For everyone it was 'keep it under $150'
and now onto the other picts Pants so far..
Before I started, all shiny and clean..
Back (all scales are hand sewn on with no 'tip' glueing at this point)
Front
Denim half jacket so far
When I first started just after removing right sleeve
after bleaching and terra cotta textile paint
There are so many more steps so far in the jacket, but lets skip to the 'right now' pic
My Mask... I call it 'Mardi Gras gone really really bad'
heres the start was a 'phantom' mask I stripped the stuff off of and cut using a dremel
more 'in progress'
aaaaaand the finished mask!
I have other stuff to finish before I move onto Aurra Sing, but, I wanted you to see what Im up to, and yeah, I can costume
