Blaster Question
So, we all know the DH-17, the Rebel Tooper blaster, right? Well, I can't find this anywhere now (like the above link) but I could have sworn I've seen an 'imperial' version of this blaster where the nozzle is black not gray... Maybe it was just on an action figure or something, but I figured I'd ask the experts on all things imperial to see if I'm crazy or not
Thanks
Thanks

Yeah, some gunners and officers carry it. Doing an image search everything comes up 'with gray'Dust Devil wrote:I believe i know which one your talking about. I think its the one alot of Imperial Gunners use. Not sure what its called though. Maybe that can get you a lead.

Except for this: http://www.rebelscum.com/SAGAaccblasters.asp which is as I suspected just toys (probably a lazy painting job)...
Even here it's silver-tipped, so I'll just stop paying attention to the toys I step on in the kids' room

Re: Blaster Question
Bart,
I beleive it was the Imperial Navy that carried the black verison of the DH-17. However, after my PC crash I don't have anything to confirm that.

Re: Blaster Question
Even the imp pictures I've seen are w/ the gray tip... It must've been just a lazy toy paint job messing with my memory...
So, on a different note, i.e. the E-11... I know there are conversion kits available for converting the toys, but I only seem to be able to find them from the UK... does anyone know of one from around this side of the atlantic?

Re: Blaster Question
I still think the Imperial Navy used that verison, but we might be thinking of the BSA Smg prototype:gandalfbmg wrote:Even the imp pictures I've seen are w/ the gray tip... It must've been just a lazy toy paint job messing with my memory...

Re: Blaster Question
I know this thread is a little older, but I did find a company that has the resin upgrades for E-11 Blaster clips and a what would be the folded version of the sniper butt, out of MINN. I did ask if it would fit the Hasbro E-11, and he wasn't sure, as they were more intended for homemade versions, however it was 12.99 and 9.99 respectivly with free shipping, so I figured I try it. If it works I'll be happy to post pics and let everyone know thats interested.gandalfbmg wrote:Even the imp pictures I've seen are w/ the gray tip... Re: Blaster Question
The Resin Blaster "ammo clip" and "folding stock" arrived today. I think they are prefect scale to Hasboro Blaster.
I have taken some pics, and will have them up on myspace as soon as it cooperates. If anyone wants to make these detailed additions to a store bought E-11 Blaster, and get them from a company here in the US rather than having to wait on overseas shipment, send me a PM and I'll be happy to give you the information.
Pics of parts as arrived, and after attached to Blaster now posted on myspace
