A New Hope Question

This might be a Rebel Legion question, but I thought I would start here...

I was watching the theatrical verison this morning and noticed something that I had not seen before. Han Solo's holster switches sides.

I know his broomhandle had a scope attached, so I assume this is a film production error. This is also on the Special Edition verison. Does anyone know anything more about this one?

I'd say that they flipped the negative in the cutting room.

I just tried to zoom in and it blurs the image. However, Bart's signature banner gave me a similar idea:

The Rebel Fleet Trooper's holster is on the right side at the beginning and on Yavin; the exception is in this scene, which shows it on the left. So, they did switch the negatives.

Thanks everyone!!!!
