(I know this is just going to fuel your shared desire for perfection so I'll just out with it.)

it's a nice start, but I know you can do better...

I think (from the pic atleast) that you need to take maybe half an inch all around off the collar piece and make the dome another 3-4 inches deeper - he always looked very linear to me (if that makes sense) and I think that would help.

sorry, but I know you'll want honesty :D

I'm not sure what you mean by "linear", but I have shaved about as much as I can off of the neck seal without driving the dome into my goggles. I am probably going to remake the goggles, but I have also shortened them by about 50%. The problem being that the dome is a fixed size and I have to work around it. It's taper prohibits me from lowering the neck seal any further. I think that once the shoulder guards are in place, the head gear will seem more at home.
I do plan on making my own custom dome, eventually. But until then, I have to work around what I have. I do share your enthusiasm for perfection, but on this costume, I really don't have a concrete source that is definitive. So, as a result I am really taking some artistic liberty whilst using the secret origins figure for guidance.

Thanks for the honesty, Steve. You are the man.

Maybe you need to use smaller words for our Squad Leader :P

I think he is referring the measurement definition of linear which is a strait line right now it is a little oval or egg shape but like you said those domes were all you could find premade and cheep eventually we will make a dome that will look more "linear". So for right now I think Boss is disinclined to acquiesce your request. :P

Yeah, I use the term "linear" every day at work to refer to "running feet" of any given material. It does not take into account three dimensional attributes such as width or depth. It is very creative of Steve to use it in reference to a person, although not as descriptive as if I were to say, "Josh is very obtuse." Which, in my humble opinion, is a much better application of geometric terminology to a semi-sentient being.

:-P

Very puerile of you trying to be acute. I am pretty sure it's the converse with you being supine and all.

Maybe I should get a smaller head. Look what it has done to Josh's vocabulary. He doesn't even know what those words mean, poor thing. He's just a a big SWEETY.

My favorite big word is Floccinaucinihilipilification which is funny enough what I think of Brandon.

So....About Mr. Freeze...

I need some advice. (A Haze may wanna chime in here, LOL.) I need to make the shoulder armor and I have about half a dozen different methods bouncing around in my huge melon. I really think I want to vac form them and want some ideas on the best cheap way to make the two (front and back) molds that I'll need.

Please throw me some options.

I started the goggles over again and did the Light mods tonight. I'm still working the bugs out, but the look pretty good. Now they are ready to be painted silver. It should be a pretty weekend! <fingers crossed>
