I took a pair of Russian officer's boots I had to a local shoe repair store and he added the extra soles. The way he shaped them though, you cant tell from the front angles they are in fact "frakenstein boots." You can only really tell from the side and since the robes and cloak usually conceal them, its hardly noticeable.

Cost me about $75 to have them modified.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Chris

same done here, they put what the lady that did mine called a toe kick. sitting flat without your foot in it, the toe looks like it curls up but once you put them on your weight straightens them out, the curl gives you the normal push you get from regular shoes instead of having a completely flat sole.

I knew that you were going to sell me out, Ken.

Seriously, though, it was a fettish shop. Great deals on leather and rubber suits, edible clothing, whips, binders, etc.

Okay, I don't know if any of that is true...I did not look past the "boots" section.

But they had cool boots for $40 that make me 4" taller!

I don't recall the website, but they are "Demonia" brand. I found the store through ebay.
