Okay, I know that I've told a few of you about this, but I wanted to share with everyone. I'm officially starting the revamp of my original Clone Trooper costume. Instead of a Lieutenant, I'm going grunt.
Here's my first clone:
First line of business, a new paint job. I've got to clear off all that blue.
Secondly, I've got to finish the helmet. A few months ago, I obtained a replacement AOTC bucket. A huge upgrade from the Rubies bucket. Here's the new one next to my AR 'Scar' bucket:
Third, I've got to finish the helmet. Nope that's not a repeat. I'm 5th in line for a new ROTS bucket. When it arrives, can't wait, I will get some pics posted.
The goal is to be able to switch between AOTC & ROTS for events that want all white troopers.
Stay tune for future updates...

Re: Clone Trooper 2.0
Good idea. The differences in the armor are so minor that double-duty with a helmet change is definitely doable. I think we do need more Ep II clones.
I've been thinking off and on for a while now about obtaining another set of armor and going Phase I (AOTC), but if I did I would be doing a Null-ARC, one of the Lieutenants: Prudii, Kom'rk, Mereel or Jaing.
Looking forward to watching your progress Dave!

Re: Clone Trooper 2.0
Question on the ROTS Bucket: Are the kill stripes / vent stripes black, grey, or dark blue?

Re: Clone Trooper 2.0
It depends on the clone. For most (including the grunt) they are blue. The only one that I know of that's different is 327th which are black.

Shock Troopers' tube stripes are actually blue, as well, and Gree doesn't have any. Just for accuracies' sake.the dark knight wrote:and gree's are green and shock troopers are red. but im sure they are blue on the rest
