If you are interested having your own trooper website like many of us do ( http://www.TK394.com/ ), I am a reseller for Blue Virtual Web Hosting ( www.bluevirtual.com ) and can actually set you up with one. I would not make any profit on this, I simply offer it as a service to other 501st members that would like to get on the web. Your costs would be as follows.
Domain Registration (buying the name www.whatever.com): This depends on who you buy from. Network Solutions used to be your only choice, and they are $35 per year, or cheaper if you buy multi-year. Other sites are cheaper: Register.com GoDaddy.com Yahoo.com are some other choices. If you need help with that, I'm not as familiar with them as I am NetworkSolutions.com .
Hosting (the computer your domain actually resides on): For $7.95 per month, I will resell to you a shared hosting plan with 250MB of hard drive space, 25GB of transfer bandwidth per month, FTP accounts, e-mail accounts, CGI & PHP scripting, SQL databases, site forums, and much more. PM me for a complete list of features. The $7.95 price is actually lower than what www.BlueVirtual.com sells for, but you still get all the same things, minus tech support (that falls on me).

FYI, your site can not have porn, hate speech, anything illegal, or offensive and it is subject to Blue Virtual's terms of service. BV will delete it without warning if you violate. But then that's not what we're here for, is it.
