Okay, not many people are really voting here, so I'll just say the party is Saturday, November 18th at 1:00pm until whenever. We'll work on armor, we'll cook some stuff on the grill (covered patio, so rain or shine), and we'll meet a bunch of new people. If enough people complain about the date/time and *can agree* on something better, I can change those details.

I'm gonna start a new thread in the Garrison Member's Only area with my address and phone number, and link to Google Maps. Those non-members that are coming (Megan?), PM me for details.

BUMP

Details of the party can be found here: http://70thexplorers.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=565

STL area members please RSVP there, even if you cannot attend. So far only Curt is coming and as much as I like ya bud, I think we need more people for a proper party.

Non-members like Megan, just PM me to confirm.

Oops, sorry Megan. I forgot to keep posting in here so you could see. Here's the roster so far.

1. Chris Moody (me)
2. Curt Stanfill (X.O.)
3. Goerge Shea (Trying to finish his armor)
4. Tony Perry (Biker Scout)
5. Megan (prospective member)
6. Rob (prospective member)
7. Rich Schafer (is a maybe)

I applaud your mother for taking an interest in her childs life. So many parents just let their children go anywhere they want. Maybe you could bring her to an event and introduce her to us.

You could always see if your Mom would like to meet some of us beforehand also. I could come by and introduce myself and show her what the 501st is all about and that might make her feel a little more comfortable. Just let me know. :)

that might be an options. I think she is also afraid that the 50st is a cult or something. She cares. I guess it's better than having one that doen't.

Well, if it's a cult, no one's tried to measure my midicholorians or thetans or hit me up for all my worldly possessions yet. In fact, no one's even asked me for membership dues. 0_0

So if it is a cult, the officers are lazy.

It doesn't help for December, but showing her the 501st in the Rose Parade with George Lucas might help also. *shrug* Just a thought.

Maybe she can come with you to the Toy show and meet us all?

Of course we understand.... Its better to have a parent be overprotective then not care one way or another.
