I actually tried a little online ico converter and got it switched to an ico file, but it didn't work when I put it on the page. So to save myself time (since time is rather short these days) I just added the .gif file to the coding of each page.

Actually, if I type http://70thexplorers.com/favicon.ico I see the icon there. So maybe it did work after all. But then I'm using Firefox and not IE. IE never did do a good job handling those.

One of the items on the list is to add a home page button to the web pages. The logo actually serves as the homepage button for now, but it's very misleading to web surfers.
The only page that does not have any links back to the site is here in the forum...even the logo doesn't link back to the homepage. That's part of the reason the forum was made as a pop-up. That's all in the works as well, bro. It's getting better with every step.
