The walk i s also an opportunity for these children and their families to meet others like them and develop a sense of belonging and support one another. Most of these children have never met anyone else with apraxia prior to the wal k. The walk is more of an event than a formal walk although there is a sho rt informal walk that the families do together. The entire event lasts fr om 9-11:30 or 12 but the activities part is from 9-10:30 with the ceremony at 10:30\, so if characters could be there from 9-10 or 10:30 that&rsquo\ ;d be great.
