SUMMARY:Kansas City Walk for Apraxia
DESCRIPTION:The walk for apraxia raises money for Apraxia Kids\, a 501(c)(3
 )\, that raises awareness of childhood apraxia of speech (a motor speech d
 isorder) and supports children with apraxia and their families. The walk i
 s also an opportunity for these children and their families to meet others
  like them and develop a sense of belonging and support one another. Most 
 of these children have never met anyone else with apraxia prior to the wal
 k. The walk is more of an event than a formal walk although there is a sho
 rt informal walk that the families do together.  The entire event lasts fr
 om 9-11:30 or 12 but the activities part is from 9-10:30 with the ceremony
  at 10:30\, so if characters could be there from 9-10 or 10:30 that&rsquo\
 ;d be great. Your organization sent two characters last year and it was fa
 ntastic - the kids loved it. Thank you!!

DESCRIPTION:We are having to move our event to November and gauging it you 
 all could still come. If you cannot and cannot do the Academy like before 
 we may pivot and do something smaller on a Thursday evening.\n\nLast year 
 there were about three rounds of the academy we wondered if there could be
  one or two more\, and if we can ensure the cosplayers can stay to the end
  of the event at 1pm.\n\nPlease let us know if this date can work for your
  all as soon as possible. If it cannot we need to change our plans soon.
