Kickin' Things Up a Notch
A while back I ordered a professionally made Boushh costume and today it arrived in the mail from the seamstress! Woo hoo! Here are some pics of the old and the new:
The old costume:
The new weathered costume:
A very happy me in my newly upgraded costume:
I tried it with my new helmet but the helmet looked really small so I am going to stay with my usual helmet for now. I will be adding the Hyperdyne voice changer though thanks to Mark Owens's help.
My new upgraded costume will make its debut at the Relay for Life event and then the Lucasfilm/Del Ray Aaron Allston book signing.

WOW!!! What a difference. Your costume always looked great, but this new and improved is over the top!! Great lookin gear, Rhonda.
Do you have some shots of your new bucket as well?? Adding the bells, whistles and voice changer is going to throw people for a loop. I can't wait to see it and hear ya in person.

Isn't the new helmet supposedly screen accurate??? If it's like my TE buckets, the screen accurate stuff takes getting used too. I have to put the TE's on sideways and then turn it to put them on. The GT/FX kit helmets are oversized so they give the bobble head look. You know me "MR.Screen accurate" but wear what is comfortable to you!!!!!! The one big advantage of the bigger trooper helmets is you can add stuff inside them!!!!!! I won't add anything to my TE's becasue if damage them I would be a little angry with myself!!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Here is a picture of the new helmet with the costume:
And here is a side by side comparison:
Doesn't the new helmet look too small compared to the usual helmet? I of course prefer the most screen accurate version but right now I can't quite decide which one is better.

I agree with Chris here. The original one looks good, maybe just rough it up more. Of course, I like you without the helmet too....so, I guess it's a toss up!judge_hellfast wrote:I like the look of your original helmet best. You could always weather your original helmet to match the screen accurate bucket.....

I would hafta agree with Brandon, you look great without the helmet...
I like the screen accurate helmet better... Its always going to look and seem smaller, because it is smaller than what you have been wearing and using. I still couldnt believe it though seeing it weathered . and i thought you were done with it. i guess every costume in the 501st is pretty much a constant work in progress... lol I'll see you On June 10th... dont forget your blaster... ill be sure to fix it permanently this time... HE HE HE HE
