Thought i would shair the progress of my chewbacca im working on. It start's of as this
Then I sew a pattern for pants and a shirt . I forgot to take a pic of the pants before but here is the shirt
Here are the pants in progress
and the pants when its finished

Ill do some thinning with some thinning shears and give it a good combing

Yes it's very time consuming I would say a good 60 to 70 hours or more on each side never timed how long. Ill try on the shirt. I just put a good movie on and go to town on it weekends i put a good 4 to 6 hours a day , 2 to 3 in the week. IM hopeing to have it done by Celebration V

I thought I would shair the process of steps. First I take the hair
And cut into two parts and blowdry
Next take a small amount and latchhook into mesh
Then repeat 7 hours later
And from the back
