hi boys and girls! after seeing the haze's iron man at comic con, it inspired me to build one. however, im not built right for iron man. after seeing some screen caps of the war machine armor, ive decided to build it! from scratch! got my pep files for a base (standard MKIII) and will be building it to get it to this!
helmet is 60% glued up tonight. pics soon....

That will be awesome! Pep WIP is always enjoyable to watch come together.
We've got one more week left of parting in pieces and attaching parts and we'll be unveiling our War Machine for opening night of Iron Man 2. It has been a lot of building for this guy as he's got a ton of greeblies and fine details. Whew!
I can't wait to see your progress, bro.

well.... i hate to say it, but after all the pepakura building, i took a look at some of the referance photos and noticed to my horror that the chest, back and spine are way off base! the bummer thing is that the files i have are the only pep files for war machine at the moment. so... i will finish what i have made and will be life casting my upper torso later this summer. then i will use clay to sculpt correct pieces. i know, just to dang anal! lol.
in the meantime, i have been loosing weight and have started constructing a MKII iron man with very good files. (unlike the war machine peps.)
here is a pic of the MKII. (incase anyone hasnt seen the first iron man movie)
