hasbro to cody phase 1
well, a garrison member asked me to change a phase 1 hasbro lid into commander cody phase 1 for his son. this is a suprise gift, so i cant mention the member's name since his son reads the forums once in a while. here i will document all progress, and add photos. i have untill the 11th of sptember... (i set the deadline) can i do it? stay tuned kids.

not much done tonight, pics tomarrow. basicly DTR1 and i cut everything hasbro-like off the lid. no more speakers, no buttons, no wierd goggle thingy. its bare bones. tomarrow i start filling in the lense area and filling all the 10,000 seams on this thing.

thanks guys and gals! i have a nice four day weekend comming up, and i know i can get this lid done. i also have been playing around with the idea of making a commander cody phase II helmet out of my MR casting, using a similar process as what EVO3 did. so i did it! 3 cuts, above the brow, below the brow, and above the teeth. i will glue it together and split it side to side and make it longer. as for the other, visor is mocked up and glued together, more filling has been done to the lid. i will document both here at the same time!

i noticed in the first post that you had oil and a filter on your table, do you do oil changes in your kitchen as well? i will need one soon it does look good
